Maurizio Cesare Centolanzo
Maurizio Cesare Centolanzo, Sr., 57, of Pamplin died Wednesday August 31, 2011. He was the husband of the late Brenda Centolanzo.
Maurizio was born July 19, 1954 in Sicily, Italy a son of the late Mr. & Mrs. Josephine Centolanzo. Maurizio honorably served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He enjoyed gardening but he especially loved spending time with his family.
He is survived by his children: son Maurizio C. Centolanzo, Jr. of Winchester, daughter Josephine C. Centolanzo and her husband Marques of Pamplin, step-son Jamie Staton of Atlanta, GA, two sisters: Letizia Coppola and her husband Piero Buffa of Italy and Maria Walker of Waynesboro, a brother Noel Walker of Roanoke, 3 grandchildren, and twelve nieces and nephews.
The family will hold a private memorial service for Maurizio in Lynchburg.
