Maxwell James Dyett

Maxwell James Dyett, 88, of Blacksburg passed away Sunday, June 30, 2019 at Kroontje Health Care Center in Blacksburg. He was the husband of the late Marilyn Ann Curtis Dyett.
Born in Gloucester, Massachusetts, he was the son of the late Cyril Wilson Dyett and Dorothy Banfield Dyett. He is also preceded in death by his brother: Clayton Dyett and a grandson: Adam Snavely.
Maxwell proudly served his county as 1st. Lieutenant in the U.S. Navy. Maxwell graduated from Brown University-Magna Cum Laude with a degree in Engineering.
Maxwell is survived by his two daughters: Lindsey Snavely and her husband, Daniel Snavely, and Dana Banker; grandchildren: Evan Snavely and Ian Banker.
