Maynard John Mens
Maynard John Mens, 90, of Bedford, died Saturday, April 14, 2012. Born May 23, 1921 in Minnesota; he was a son of the late William Mens and Elda Eickhoff Mens.
Maynard served the United States in Army during World War II, European African Eastern Theatre. He was a prisoner of war in Germany following the Battle of the Bulge. Maynard was recognized as a hard worker. He enjoyed his yard, flowers, and trees.
Maynard is survived by his wife, June Wilkerson Mens; his children and their families, Gary Mens of OK, Jody Mens of MN, Gail Perrine of TX, and Cheryl Garza of MN.
