Mazina Pearl Hannabass Broesamle, 77, of Bedford, died Friday, April 8, 2016 in Oakwood Health & Rehab. She was the loving wife of Corwin Hazen “Sam” Broesamle.
Born November 27, 1938 in Bedford, she was the daughter of the late Willie Everett Hannabass and Lizzie Blanche.
Pearl is also preceded in death by her son: Edward William “Boo” Broesamle; and her brother: James Everett Hannabass.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughter: Elizabeth “Liz” Harmony and her husband, Eddie; and nephew: Ron Hannabass and his wife, Kitty.
During Pearl’s career as a paralegal she worked for Bedford County Circuit Court, she retired from Shrader Engineering & Land Surveying, but also worked for attorneys, Don Rowe, Roy B. Thorp, Frank L. Thomasson, Putney & Putney, Ludlum & Ludlum. While living in Kiserslautern Germany she worked for a Travel agent and Insurance Co.
Pearl enjoyed real estate research, genealogy, painting and travel.
Funeral service will be held Wednesday, April 13, 2016 at 2 00 p.m. in Tharp Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Ephesus United Methodist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Tharp Funeral Home Tuesday, April 12, 2016 from 5:00-7:00 p.m.
