Meghan Maria Rose, 16, of Madison Heights passed away Thursday, April 15, 2010.
\"She was the most precious thing that had ever lived.\"
Meghan was born June 7, 1993. She was a daughter of Carlton and Lisa Rose of Madison Heights.
In addition to her parents she is survived by her sisters, Bonnie Rose of Madison Heights and Katesha Rose Tyler of Roanoke; her maternal grandfather, Robert Lee Crago of Rustburg; her maternal grandmother, Winnie Bassil of Forest and a host of aunts, cousin, family and special friends.
Meghan was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Dolores Simpson Crago, her maternal great grandmother Frances R. Simpson, and her paternal grandparents; Thurman Sherwood Rose and Willie Lea Smith Rose.
The family will receive friends Monday, April 19, 2010 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Tharp Funeral Home, Lynchburg.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 20, 2010 at Tharp Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Fort Hill Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Children\"™s Miracle Network, 3300 Rivermont Ave., Lynchburg, VA 24503.
