Melvin Harold Glass, Jr. 75, of Vinton, died Tuesday, October 27, 2015 at Friendship Health & Rehab. He was the loving husband of the late Sue Ellen Reed Glass.
Born October 16, 1940 in Linden, Alabama, he was the son of the late Melvin Harold Glass, Sr. and Hortense Daniels Glass.
Melvin is survived by his daughter, Amy G. Dullaghan; brother, Pat Glass; and sister-in-law, Frankie Reed Wilson.
Melvin spent four years in the Navy, he retired from VDOT, and he enjoyed hunting and collecting guns. He was a member of the Lame Buck Hunt Club.
A graveside service will be held Saturday, October 31, 2015 at 11:00 am at St. Thomas Episcopal Church Cemetery.
