Michael Allen Bartasavich, 64, of Lynchburg, formerly of Dubois, PA died Saturday November 22, 2014.
Michael was born February 15, 1950 a son of the late Allen Bartasavich and the late Maxine Yorko Bartasavich. He honorably served his country in the U.S. Army Reserves. Michael later retired as a professional meat cutter and was currently employed at Fresh Market. He was a parishioner of St. Michael Archangel Catholic Church in Dubois, PA.
He is survived by former wife Alice and daughters Michelle, Christina and Amanda, his siblings: Gerard Bartasavich and wife Vera of Pepper Pike, OH, Patricia Alderton and husband Thomas of Erie, PA, Paul Bartasavich and wife Tammy of Erie, PA, and Barry Bartasavich and wife Rachel of Lynchburg, two nephews: Jason Alderton and Devin Bartasavich, and seven nieces: Alicia and Abbey Bartasavich, Jessica Walker, Vivian Walker, Jocelyn and Alex Wieczorek, and Hannah Hudson.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at St. Thomas More Catholic Church with a reception to follow.
A Mass of Resurrection for Michael will be held at 12:00 p.m. Saturday November 29, 2014 at St. Thomas More Catholic Church with Monsignor McCarron as Celebrant. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery.
