Michael Emerson Garraghty, 60, of Goode passed away on Wednesday, December 2, 2015 at Lynchburg General Hospital. He was born on November 30, 1955 in Bedford, VA, the son of Betty Arthur Garraghty and the late Reginald Emerson Garraghty.
Mike was a boilermaker with Miller Mechanical and RECO for 30 plus years. He enjoyed farming, hunting, fishing and spending time with his family and friends. He was a member of Bethany United Methodist Church in Forest.
Mike is survived by his loving wife, Donna Manley Garraghty, four children, Wendy Lambert- Pascual and her husband, Ed, Lara Garraghty Burford and her husband, Bryan, Joshua Emerson Garraghty and his wife, Tori and Diane Goff and her husband, Mark; 10 grandchildren, Lily Pascual, Tyler Burford, Layla Burford, Grayson Burford, Elyse Burford, Deja Stevenson, Jade Garraghty, Avyn Garraghty, Hunter Goff and Kayley Goff; one sister, Sherry Harris and her husband, Linwood; also numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
