Michael Glenn Governor

Michael Glenn Governor, 74, of Lynchburg, Virginia, passed away on October 24, 2024. He was the son of the late John Smith Governor, Jr. and Virginia Saunders Governor.

He was born on January 10, 1950, in Lynchburg, Virginia. He graduated from West Virginia State College with degrees in Business Management and Marketing.

He is survived by his brothers John S. Governor IV (Sandy) and Kenneth E. Governor (Rebecca); nephew Kevin Governor; nieces Amy Governor and Christy Hummer. We are grateful to the extended family for the support they gave Mike, and give a special thank you to Kakie Richards for the caring help she provided.

A graveside service will be held at Fort Hill Memorial Park on Wednesday, October 30, 2024, at 11:00 AM.
