Michael "Mike" Robert Hickok

Michael “Mike” Robert Hickok, 77, of Buchanan, VA passed away on Wednesday, December 4, 2024. He was born in Roanoke, Virginia on June 17, 1947, to the late Robert Houston and Lillian Roberts Hickok. In addition to his parents, Mike was preceded in death by Father and Mother-in-law, Junius and Lillian Markham; brothers-in-law, Clayton Markham, Wray Markham; nephew, Christopher Markham.

 Mike is survived by his wife, Doris Anne Hickok; sister, Brenda Hatcher(Jim) and family, Cindy Puckett (Steve) and family; sister-in-law, Carolyn D Markham and family; nephews, Scott Markham(Tracy), Jakob Markham, Ryan Markham; niece, Amber Markham; cousins, Eric, Teresa, and Wanda Padgett; Friends, Matt and Rena Wright, John Beamer, and Chris Burton, and numerous other family and friends.. 

 Memorial Contributions may be made to the charity of your choice.

 A Funeral service will be held at 12:00pm Tuesday, December 10, 2024 at Tharp Funeral Chapel, Bedford. Burial will follow at Hunting Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service starting at 11:00 am.
