Born June 14, 1959 in Lynchburg; he was a son of the late Elmor Hayden Markham and Rachel Saunders Markham. He is survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Michael enjoyed talking about politics and the Hokies.
A Funeral service will be conducted 1:00 PM Monday, December 1, 2014 at the graveside in Virginia Memorial Park with Dr. J. Monty Fox officiating.
