With profound sadness, we announce the sudden passing of Michael Llewellyn Thomas, who left this world unexpectedly on December 14, 2024, at the age of 24. Michael was a cherished son, brother, partner, and friend, whose warmth and hard work touched all who knew him.
Born on August 24, 2000, Michael grew up in a close-knit family filled with love and laughter. He was the beloved son of Alex and Julie Thomas and a devoted brother to his seven siblings: Alexis, James, Julie, Abigail, Benjamin, Sarah, and Jacob. Michael’s kindness, humor, and loyalty were constant sources of strength and joy to his family.
Michael found purpose and fulfillment in his work as an apprentice mason at Thompson Masonry. Known for his strong work ethic and willingness to learn, he earned the respect and friendship of his colleagues. He took pride in his craft, pouring both skill and heart into every project he undertook.
In addition to his work, Michael had a love for reading and a natural curiosity for learning. He spent his free time delving into books, expanding his knowledge, and enjoying the company of his close-knit group of friends. He cherished moments spent with his best friend, Austin, and shared a loving bond with his significant other, Brianna, whose support and love brought him great happiness.
Michael’s loss is deeply felt by his parents, siblings, extended family, and friends. His kindness, generosity, and laughter will be forever missed but never forgotten.
Though his time with us was far too brief, Michael’s legacy will live on in the lives of those he touched. He leaves behind a lasting example of love, hard work, and the beauty of genuine human connection.
Rest peacefully, Michael. You will remain in our hearts always.
