Mildred Maddox Cook, 86, of Lynchburg, VA, died Wednesday, June 05, 2013.



Born Friday, December 10, 1926 in Melbourne, FL, Mildred was a daughter of the late Charles Russell Maddox and the late Vida Lee Allen Maddox.

Mildred is survived by her daughter, Patricia A. Moss, and her husband, James, of Lynchburg, her son James Cook and his wife, Ellen Campbell, of Tucson, AZ, four grandchildren: Dallas Moss, of Lynchburg, Zachary Moss and his wife, Ashley, of Lynchburg, and Lila and Theo Cook, of Tucson, AZ.

In addition to her parents, Mildred was preceded in death by a son, David Cook, two brothers; Charles Russell Maddox, and Leonard Maddox, and a sister, Dorothy Wynne.

A Graveside Service will be conducted at Virginia Memorial Park on Wednesday, June 12, 2013 at 9:30 a.m. with Bobb Raysor officiating.
