Milton Earl Oakley

Milton Earl Oakley, of Bedford, passed away June 22, 2017. He was born February 4, 1946 in Richmond, to Glenn Austin Oakley and Estelle Robison.
He was known for his friendly personality, sensitive and caring disposition and generous heart. He symbolized his dedication to Jehovah by water baptism in 1957. In 1964 he volunteered for full time service at Bethel. On August 24th 1968 Milton married Beverly Sahm beginning a life of more than 49 years together. They raised 2 children and 3 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father Glenn Oakley, his mother Estelle Robison, his brother Glenn “Wayne” Oakley.
He is survived by his loving wife, Beverly Oakley; 2 children, Jonathon Oakley and his wife Donna, and Kimberly Ransome; 3 grandchildren, Joseph Siford, Joshua Ransome and Brianna Ransome; 2 brothers, Ray Waters and Jerry Oakley; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
