Myrtle Anderson Alexander passed away on October 10, 2017 at the Lynchburg Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was born on August 8, 1924 to the late Joseph Anderson and Emma Brown Anderson. In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Alexander, and a daughter, Valerie Alexander.
Myrtle is survived by her children, one daughter, Joyce Oliver and three sons, Ralph Alexander Jr., Wayne Alexander, and Rodney Alexander and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren; a devoted cousin, Roger L. Brown Sr. and a host of other relatives and friends.
A memorial service will be on Saturday, October 14, 2017 at 2 p.m. at Christ Chapel Baptist Church.
Tharp Funeral Home & Crematory, Lynchburg, is assisting the family.
