Myrtle Ann Pentecost Deaner, 61, of Lynchburg, died Tuesday January 13, 2015 at her residence.
Born October 31, 1953 in Lynchburg, she was the daughter of the late Ernest W. Pentecost and Effie Jennings Martin. She is also preceded in death by two sisters, Linda Diane Barker and Martha Louise “Stinky” Wright.
Myrtle is survived by two daughters; Tina M. Robbins of Virginia Beach and Ruth Denise Deaner of Lynchurg, three sons; Lewis Noell, Robert Deaner, Jr. and Michael Deaner all of Lynchburg, three brothers; Robert Pentecost and wife Margaret of FL, Michael Pentecost and wife Gail of TN, and David Pentecost of TX, a special loving and devoted best friend Phyllis Swain of Lynchburg, and a host of grandchildren and relatives, and her furry Kitty Bandino.
A Celebration of Myrtle’s Life will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday January 16, 2015 in the chapel of Tharp Funeral Home Lynchburg with Pastor Lawrence Randall officiating.
