Nancy Elizabeth Wacker
Nancy Elizabeth Wacker, 57, of Lynchburg died Tuesday July 5, 2011. She was the loving wife of Donald Richard Wacker.
Nancy was born October 7, 1953 in Norfolk the only daughter of the late Paul Harold Pietsch and Suzanne White Pietsch of Melbourne, FL. She honorably served her country in the U.S. Air Force and was once a systems engineer. Despite a serious medical challenge, she never complained and maintained her sense of humor and her faith.
In addition to her husband and mother, she is survived by three brothers; Charles Pietsch and his wife Eva of Lynchburg, Paul Pietsch and his wife Dee of Leonardtown, MD, and Thomas Pietsch of Melbourne, FL, four nephews and two nieces.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday July 8, 2011 at St. Thomas More Catholic Church with Fr. Richard Mooney as celebrant. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery, with a reception back at the church. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
Memorials may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society 4200 Innslake Dr. Ste. 301 Glen Allen, VA 23060.
