Nancy Pearson Alto, 89, of Madison Heights, passed away on Saturday, February 27, 2021 with her family by her side.
She was the loving wife of Richard Alan Alto for 66 years.
She was the daughter of the late Ernest and the late Martha Pearson.
Nancy was a devoted wife, mother, Mor Mor and friend. She graduated from Robert Morris college in Pittsburg and was a member of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church where she sang in the choir for many years. She devoted her time to the community helping serve with Meals on Wheels for over 25 years.
In addition to her husband, Richard she is survived by her children; Alan Alto (Nena), Patty Lacks (Mike), Five grandchildren; Chris Alto (Heather), Martha Lynn Rector (Jason), Nicholas Jennings (Carrie), Brandon Jennings (Amanda) and Alexander Alto, seven great-grandchildren, a sister, Shirlee Pearson Johnson.
Memorial contributions to honor Nancy may be made to, Alan B. Pearson Cancer Regional Cancer Center (Cancer Care) 1701 Thomson Dr. Lynchburg VA 24504.
The family will receive friends on Friday, March 5, 2021 from 6:00 p.m. until 7:30p.m. at Tharp Funeral Home & Crematory, Madison Heights.
