Nancy Presley Watson, 72, of Lynchburg, passed away Monday, December 15, 2014. She was the wife of Rodger J. Watson.
Born March 13, 1942 in Pearisburg, VA; she was a daughter of the late Claude Presley and Bernice Graham Presley. Nancy is also preceded in death by a brother: Beverly Presley.
Nancy retired from Lynchburg General Hospital after 30 years of employment as a switchboard operator. In her spare time she bowled on several bowling leagues. She was a member of Forest United Methodist Church.
In addition to her husband, Nancy is survived by one brother: Thomas Presley; a sister: Rose Mary Presley; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, December 18, 2014 at Tharp Funeral Home in Bedford, with Rev. Bill Burleigh officiating. Interment will follow in Virginia Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. this evening, December 17, 2014, at Tharp Funeral Home in Bedford.
