Nancy Reid Tabor, 67, of Forest, died Wednesday, November 11, 2020.
Born in Lynchburg, she was the youngest child of Florris Dodson Reid and the late James Kent Reid, sister to Edward Reid and Barbara Reid Mallow and her husband Michael Mallow, and niece of Edward Dodson and John Saunders.
In addition to her mother and siblings, Nancy is survived by her daughter, Amy Lynn Tabor of Charlotte; her son, Frank A. Tabor IV of Roanoke; their father, Frank A. Tabor III of Bedford; her daughter-in-law, Shelly Devine Tabor; grandchildren, Evan Michael and Bailey Elizabeth Tabor; niece, Jennifer Mallow; nephew, James Mallow (Jamie), his wife Amy, and their children Addyson and Michael; nephew, Christopher Reid and his wife Kandy Reid; niece, Jodi Mallow, her partner Shaun Conway, and their son Grayson; niece, Margaret Bowley-Beasley (Meg), her husband Steve, and their daughter Bella; nephew, Edward Lee Justis, his wife Alicia, and their sons Jeremy, Greyson and Remington; nephew, Robert Justis (Bobby), his wife Shannon, and their sons Ryder and Jensen; nieces, Dr. Caitlin Bohannon and Allison Bohannon; and nephew, Harrison Bohannon.
Nancy is also survived by numerous cousins, their spouses, children, and grandchildren, and her many friends.
Nancy was preceded in death by her father, James Kent Reid, and aunts Clara Clay, Geraldine Daniel, Alise Clay, Ruth Dodson, and Jewel Saunders.
The family will receive friends from 2 p.m. until 4 pm on Saturday, November 14, 2020 at Tharp Funeral Home & Crematory, Lynchburg. Out of respect for the age and health of some of Nancy’s family and friends, visitors will be required to wear masks while they are in the building.
