Nancy Mae Wheeler Robertson, 80, of Bedford passed away on Monday, March 13, 2017 at Cardinal Senior Community. She was the loving wife of Garland Larry Robertson.
Born on January 20, 1937 in Roanoke, she was the daughter of the late John Edward Wheeler and Gladys Callahan Wheeler. She is also preceded in death by three sisters: Audrey Montano, Kathleen Dooley and Pauline Zimmerman.
In addition to her husband she is survived by her two sons: Ricky Lee Robertson and wife, Lisa, Mark Allen Robertson and wife, Trista; step-grandchildren: Cayle and Cody Meador, Travis Hipes; brother: John “Butch” Wheeler and his wife, Sandy; brother-in-law: Lenny Montano; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be held Thursday, March 16, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. in Tharp Funeral Home Bedford Chapel with Pastor Greg Rogers and Pastor Danny Holdren officiating. Interment will follow at Holy Land Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday, March 15, 2017 from 6:00-8:00 p.m.
