Natalie Hopkins Wheeler

Natalie H. Wheeler, 92, of Bedford, Virginia died Friday, November 08, 2013. Born January 2, 1921 in Brattleboro, VT; she was a daughter of the late C. Warner Hopkins and Edith Thurber Hopkins.

Natalie was a member of Bethlehem United Methodist Church in Moneta. She was a retired Town Clerk with the Town of Sweden, N.Y. She also enjoyed reading, playing bridge, and traveling.

In addition to her parents, Natalie was preceded in death by her husband, Warren A. Wheeler; a daughter, Beverly J. Mitrano; a stepson, Warren H. Wheeler; and a son-in-law, Timothy Karnes. She is survived by a daughter, Barbara J. Fowler; stepson, Paul R. Wheeler and wife, Betty Jane \"BJ\"; a daughter-in-law, Barbara Wheeler of Bedford; two brothers, Stewart W. Hopkins and wife, Harriet of Groveland, MA and Donald A. Hopkins and wife, Leila of Lynchburg; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A celebration of Natalie\"™s life will be conducted at 2 PM, Friday, November 15, 2013 in the Elks National Home Lodge Room with Rev. David Lord officiating.
