Nealy Clay Davis
Nealy Clay Davis, 74, of Lynchburg, died Monday, November 20, 2011. He was the son of the late Samuel R. Davis and the late Ruth S. Davis
Nealy was born January 15, 1937 in Campbell County; He was the loving husband of the late Mildred C. Davis.
He was a faithful member of Memorial Christian Church. He retired from the Lynchburg Fire Department after 29 wonderful years.
He is survived by his children; Rhonda Mays and husband, Stephen, Michael Wayne Davis, and Renee Franklin and husband Tom, all of Lynchburg; four grandchildren, Lisa, Stephanie, Mackie, and Miranda.
A celebration of Nealy\"™s life will be conducted at 2:00 PM on Saturday, November 26, 2011 at Tharp Funeral Home & Crematory with Rev. Virgil Knipp and Rev. Sue Knipp officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Memorial Christian Church, 615 Perrymont Avenue, Lynchburg, VA. 24502
