Nellie Moore Torode
Nellie Moore Torode, 94, of Lynchburg died Friday, May 31, 2013. She was the wife of the late Clarence Edwin Torode.
Mrs. Torode was born Thursday, May 1, 1919 in Campbell County, VA, a daughter of the late Norman Moore and the late Catherine Cardwell Moore. She was retired from Central Virginia Training Center where she was a Charge Aide and a member of First Christian Church.
She is survived by two daughters: Kitty Gobie and Gerry of Manassas, VA, Kaye Cash and Ronnie of Lynchburg; two grandchildren: Rhonda Chandler and Steve and Robert and Jeaneen Gallier; two great-great-grandchildren: Lauren and Justin Chandler.
In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by her great grand doggie Jake.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 am on June 3, 2013 at Fort Hill Memorial Park.
