Nellie Sarah Reid Brabant

Nellie Sarah Brabant of Bedford, Virginia, passed away August 25, 2014, at her residence at the age of 90. Nellie was born in Point Pleasant, NJ. She is survived by a sister, Edith Kolivaski, two sons, Joseph Edward Tilton and Richard Kenneth Kierstead, three daughters, Linda Sue Tilton, Gloria Jean Kierstead, and Nellie Sarah Landes, and numerous grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one son, George Edgar Tilton, Jr., two brothers, Charles Reid and Lester Reid, and four husbands, Clifford Kierstead, George Edgar Tilton, Earl Reep, and Wes Brabant. Nellie loved to crochet, go to yard sales, and spend time outside in her yard at home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Bedford Hospice Care, 1621 Whitfield Dr., Bedford, VA 24523.

Graveside services will be held at 11 AM, Saturday, September 6, 2014, at Holy Land Cemetery in Bedford County.
