Nicole Demetria Rosser

Nicole Demetria Rosser departed this life on Friday, November 10, 2023. Born in Lynchburg, Va., she was the daughter of Russell Rosser and Natalie Jones Rosser. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Deacon J.B. Rosser and Catherine Sue Rosser, and her maternal grandparents Nathan Jones and Bettie Lee Powell Jones.

Nicole attended Heritage High School and was a member of New Free Spring Baptist Church. She was employed by The Key (formerly Generation Solutions).

Nicole is survived by two sons, Keith Brian Harris, Jr. and Justice Jashawn Greer; one brother Russell Rosser, Jr. (Lisa); one sister Catherine Rosser; five grandchildren; and a devoted cousin/sister Ketura Buster (Meade). She is also survived by a devoted companion Dale Lumumba, a lifelong friend Jason Greer and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, November 17, 2023, at New Free Springs Baptist Church with Rev. William Glover, officiating, and Rev. Dr. Waddell Jones, Jr. Eulogist. A Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 16, 2023, at Tharp Funeral Home 220 Breezewood Drive, Lynchburg, Virginia. Interment will take place in the Jones-Tweedy Family Cemetery following the service.
