Norman Keith Nicholas, 73, of Madison Heights, died Saturday, January 27, 2018.
Born Thursday, December 14, 1945 in Lynchburg, Norman, a son of the late Virginia Bailey Nicholas and the late Montaque Mason Nicholas, Jr.
In addition to his parents, Norman was preceded in death by a sister Gayle Nicholas Brown, and a brother, Danny Lee Nicholas.
Norman is survived a daughter, Angela Nicholas, of Roanoke, a sister, Peggy Nicholas, of Monroe, and a brother, Montague Nicholas, III, of Lynchburg.
Norman was well known and well liked in the Madison Heights area. Frequently he could be seen riding his Red Vespa. He was personable and well-liked by everyone. He will be greatly missed by family and friends.
The family will receive friends from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM on Monday, January 29, 2018 at Tharp Funeral Home, Madison Heights.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the Amherst Humane Society. No flowers please.
