Norman Sandford Cromwell, 100, of Lynchburg, died Tuesday, September 04, 2018 in his home surrounded by his three loving daughters.
Born in New Jersey on March 17, 1918, Norman was the son of the late Elwood Williams Cromwell and Norma Adelaide Clum Cromwell. He was a graduate of Moravian College and RCA Institute.
He is survived by daughters, Barbara Bloomer of Lexington, Kentucky; Shelley Gibson of Forest, Virginia; and Sandy Moberg of Navarre, Florida; and will be fondly remembered by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, and friends.
Norman led a long and fruitful life and had quite the social calendar until the end! He worked for many years in Engineering and Marketing at General Electric.
A Celebration of Norman’s life will be held for friends and family at 12 noon, Tuesday, September 25, 2018 at Lori’s Italian Grill and Pizzeria, 1208 Perrowville Road, Forest, VA. A favorite place for Norm and friends to gather for lunch!
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Lynchburg Humane Society.
