Patricia Ann “Trisha” Miller departed this life on August 15, 2018 at Lynchburg General Hospital. She was born on December 26, 1957 in Lynchburg, Virginia to Adolphus and Jearlene Davis of Lynchburg, VA.
She was educated in the Lynchburg City school system. She served in the United States Army for 16 years and received numerous awards including an Army Commendation Medal, Four Army Good Conduct Medals, National Defense Service Medal, NCO Professional Development Ribbon, Army Service Ribbon, and Three Overseas Service Ribbons. She was a trained medical assistant and served as a property manager in Valdosta, GA before returning to Lynchburg. She was baptized as a child at First Baptist Church of South Lynchburg and attended Greater Peaceful Zion Baptist Church in Lynchburg, VA. Patricia loved gardening, crocheting, decorating, singing, and spending time with family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Ronnie Davis and her Paternal and Maternal Grandparents. She leaves to cherish her memory her parents, Adolphus and Jearlene Farmer Davis of Lynchburg, A beloved son, Samuel Davis of Lynchburg, three grandchildren, two brothers, Wayne Davis (Pat) of Atlanta GA., Adolphus Leroy Davis of Lynchburg, two sisters: Darnell Davis of Lynchburg, and Kathy Vaughan (Jimmy) of Lynchburg, devoted and dedicated friend, Mr. Dennis Roberson of Lynchburg and a host of aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, August 21, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church South Lynchburg, Virginia. Rev. Carl B. Hutcherson, Officiant and Minister Erica Davis-Dunn, Eulogist. Repass immediately following the service.
