Patricia Burley Irby Williams, 64, of Lynchburg died Thursday May 8, 2014. Twice widowed she was the wife of the late Roy Irby and the late Bennie Williams.
Patricia was born December 5, 1949 in Lynchburg, a daughter of the late Bernard Alvin Burley and Lucille Hudson Burley of Lynchburg.
In addition to her mother she is survived by her daughter Barbara Lynn Thurmond of Richmond, a son Travis Williams of Dillwyn, two sisters: Barbara Hannabass of Bedford and Bonnie Campbell of Roanoke, a brother James D. Burley, Sr. of Lynchburg, two grandchildren: Codie and Jessica Thurmond and one great-grandchild.
A Memorial Service for Patricia will be held at 6:00 p.m. Monday, May 12, 2014 in the chapel of Tharp Funeral Home Lynchburg with Pastor Danny Eubank officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
Memorials may be made to the Central Virginia Area Agency on Aging, 501 12th Street Lynchburg, VA 24504.
