Patricia Blankenship Hull

Patricia Jane Blankenship Hull, 87 of Bedford passed away on Thursday, April 10, 2025, at Bedford County Nursing Home. She was born in Bedford Co. VA on September 04, 1937. A daughter of the late Willam Henry Blankenship and Fannie Elizabeth Johnson Blankenship. In addition to her parents Patricia was preceded in death by her loving husband, William Frederick Hull; daughter, Phyllis Gayle Hull; and her son William David Hull.

Patricia was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She loved her family dearly and enjoyed spending time with each of them. A great cook, who enjoyed sewing, gardening, spending time on the family farm and always gave a helping hand while feeding cows. Her love for flowers was very evident, especially Tulips. Patricia was also known for her love of reading God’s word. She will be missed dearly in the days ahead.

Patricia is survived by her son, Dale Hull and his wife, Barbara; Her sons significant other, Regina S. Knight; grandchildren, Amy St. Clair and her significant other, Kevin Shotwell, Amanda Creasy and her husband, Matthew, Adam Hull, Jonathan Hull, Daniel Noel and his significant other Karen Simpson, Darah McPherson and her husband, Brian and Kellan Hull; great grandchildren, Treyse Hull, Tristan Hull, Rhylan Logwood, , and Eivah McPherson.

A funeral service and celebration of Patricia’s life will be conducted at 11:00 am on Tuesday, April 15, 2025, at Tharp Funeral Home & Crematory, Bedford with Austin Hull officiating. Burial will follow in Virginia Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 8:00 pm on Sunday, April 13, 2025, for a combined visitation for her and her son David who passed just two days prior to Patricia.
