Patricia J Boyance loving wife,sister, mother and nana went to her eternal home at the age of 72.
Patricia was born on February 2,1949 to the late Cornelius and Kay Sullivan. She was born in Johnstown PA. The family moved to Berkeley Heights NJ where Patricia grew up. She was a Governor Livingston graduate and married her high school sweetheart and soulmate Alan Boyance on March 6, 1971. They raised two children Stacia and Andrew Boyance.
She lived in Berkeley Heights until 1998, when the family relocated to Huddleston Virginia.
Patricia worked as a secretary in New Jersey for Berkeley Heating and Air Conditioning and in Virginia for the Lynchburg Public Library. Patricia also worked as a home party sales Associate for Tupperware both in NJ and VA.
Patricia had heart surgery and later began volunteering with the Lynchburg Mended hearts chapter, Helping others recover from heart surgeries.
Patricia was also a dog lover. She raised and trained many dogs including two seeing eye dogs.
Patricia and Alan had a small family business selling “uncle Al’s finishing sauce” they spent their weekends at various wine and local festivals throughout the region promoting and selling their sauce.
Patricia was a loving Nana and was very active in her grandchildren’s lives.
She is survived by her sister Kathleen Sullivan of Holland MI, daughter Stacia Boyance of Forest Va, son Andrew Boyance of SC and grandchildren
Hanna, Christopher, and Michael Peart of Forest Virginia as well as several nieces and nephews.
Patricia was a devout Catholic and follower of Christ. She often participated in the rosary club at her church.
The family will receive friends at 2:00 pm on Friday, September 3, 2021 at Resurrection Catholic Church . A funeral service for both Alan and Patricia will be conducted at 3:00 pm on Friday, September 3, 2021, at Resurrection Catholic Church in Moneta, VA with the Rev. Nixon Negparanon officiating. Burial will follow in the church’s cemetery. The family requests masks be worn during the service.
