Patricia Kanealey Harris

Patricia Ann Kanealey Harris, 81, of Bedford died Thursday, July 22, 2010 at Oakwood Manor Nursing Home. Born in Rochester, NY on December 2, 1928, a daughter of the late Geraldine Elva Barnum Kanealey and John Martin Kanealey.Patricia was a parishioner of Holy Name of Mary Catholic Church. In addition to her parents, Patricia was preceded in death by her husband, Charles \"Chuck\" Felix Harris, Jr.; a son, John Charles \"Jackie\" Harris; and a daughter, Patricia Joyce \"Patty Jo\" Harris.Patricia is survived by her two sons; Michael R. Harris and Charles \"Chip\" Harris both of Bedford; one daughter, Mary Kay Ward of Pittsford, NY; a daughter-in-law, Maureen B. Harris of Virginia Beach; six grandchildren; Martin Ward, Randall Ward, Andrew Ward, Caitlan Harris, Peyton Harris and Colleen Ward; one brother, Michael Kanealey; one sister, Kathleen Burns; and a special friend, Jo Ann Sneed.Memorial contributions may be to Holy Name of Mary Catholic Church Building Fund, 1307 Oakwood Street, Bedford, VA 24523.Funeral Mass will be said at 10:00 AM, Tuesday, July 27, 2010 at Holy Name of Mary Catholic Church with Father Salvador Añonuevo celebrant.
