Patricia Kilian
Patricia Kilian, 83, went to be with her heavenly father January 21, 2011. She was the loving wife of Willie Leonard Kilian Jr. for almost 47 years.
Patty was born July 30, 1927 in Athens, OH. She was a daughter of the late Guy Bolen and the late Catherine Gibson Bolen. She was a member of Thomas Road Baptist Church and the Fifty Plus Group where she enjoyed singing.
To all that knew Patty, she was a \"Godly Women\" with a gentle and quiet spirit. She enjoyed ceramics, painting and watching Christian programs.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children, Caterina Jane Kilian of Lynchburg and Ricky Leonard Kilian of Lexington, NC; her sister, Phyllis Hofer of Washington State; and her granddaughter, Sarah Jaye Kilian of Lexington, NC. She was preceded in death by a brother, George Bolen.
A memorial service will be held Tuesday, January 25, 2011 at 4:00 p.m. in the chapel of Tharp Funeral Home, Lynchburg with the Rev. Roy Newman officiating. The family will receive friends following the service until 6:00 p.m.
A funeral service will be conducted Wednesday, January 26, 2011 at 3:00 p.m. at St. Pauls Lutheran Church, Norlina, NC with Pastor Hubert Riethmeier. Interment will follow in St. Pauls Lutheran Cemetery.
