Patricia Mae Miles, 70, of Lynchburg, passed away on Saturday, October 17, 2015.
Born in Campbell County on August 11, 1945, she was a daughter of the late Winston Bueford and Mary Ruth Womack Miles. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Wendell R. Miles.
Left behind to cherish Patricia’s memory are her son, Rev. Brian Miles and his wife, Rev. Kristie Miles; her grandson, Joseph M. Miles, who affectionately called her, “Cookie Grandma”; her brother, Dr. Robert M. Miles and his wife, Bonnie; her sister, Ruby J. Miles; her sister-in-law, Helen T. Miles; and her nieces and nephews, Wendy Miles, Blake Miles and his wife, Kathrine, Laird Miles and his wife, Amanda, and Barry Miles and his wife, Pam.
The family will receive friends from 4:00pm until 6:00pm on Saturday, October 24, 2015, at Tharp Funeral Home in Lynchburg. A celebration of Patricia’s life will be held at St. Andrew Presbyterian Church on Sunday, October 25, 2015, at 3:00pm with Rev. David Etheridge officiating.
