Patti Stratton Childress, 47, of Lynchburg passed away Friday, August 19th, 2011.

Born April 27th, 1964, she was the youngest daughter of the late Barbara Herndon Brooks and James Douglas Stratton of Appomattox. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband, Gary Lynn Moore.

Patti was a loving wife and mother. In addition to dedicating her life to being the very best wife and mother she could be, she also committed her life to teaching other\"™s children.
