Paul Gregory Ferguson

Paul Gregory Ferguson passed away peacefully at his home on Thursday, July 18, 2024. He was born the son of Paul Coleman Ferguson and Emma Gregory Ferguson.

In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Ferguson who passed in 2018; his daughter, Shelby Sutton who passed in 2023; and a sister-in-law Betsy Reynolds. 

Paul is survived by a daughter who was a caring nurse Sharon F. Butler; son in law, David Sutton; brother-in-law, Alfred Reynolds; two nephews, Rev. Steve Reynolds, and Rev. Donald Reynolds; four grandchildren, Michelle Butler, Kimberly Humbles, Kari Sutton, and Stephanie Hicks. 

Paul enjoyed spending holidays with his entire family, loving the outdoors, going to church and giving back to several charities. 

Paul was a caring Christian man who served his country in the U.S. Army.

A visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 25, 2024, at Tharp Funeral Home, Madison Heights. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, July 26, 2024, at Tharp Funeral Home, Madison Heights. Burial will follow the funeral service at Fort Hill Memorial Park.

Paul will forever be in our hearts as a great man. The family would like to than Centra Home Health, and his family friend Hubert for the wonderful care and compassion displayed.
