Paul Ferris

Paul Griffin Ferris, departed this life at the age of 62, on Tuesday, February 9, 2016 in Lexington, KY. He leaves behind his wife, Linda Moyers Ferris of Vinton. Paul was born April 6, 1953, in Roanoke to the late Earnest G. “Red” and Annie Haupt Ferris. He is also preceded in death by his brothers: Clyde Ferris “Skippy” , Claude Ferris; sisters: Margaret Meador and Gail Vowel.In addition to his wife, Paul is survived by his daughter: Beverly Ferris of Troutville; grandchildren: Allie, Nathan Paul, and Seth Lee of  Troutville; sister: Dana Ferris Foster of  Cloverdale; special nephew Bud Meador; nieces: Sherry, Jenny and Sissy.Paul was a carpenter by trade. He was an interesting, unique and very resourceful person. He always saw the good in people and made the best of all life’s good and bad situations.A funeral service will be held Friday, February 19, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. in Tharp Funeral Home, Bedford.
