Paul Eugene Henderson, of Evington, passed away on April 9, 2024, at the young age of 42. He was born on October 12, 1981, to Jeffrey Henderson and Tammy Jamerson.
Paul graduated from Appomattox County High School. Upon graduation, Paul enlisted in the U.S. Navy, serving two years. After leaving the Navy he went to work at Asplundh Tree Service, then later at U.S. Pipe. Although Paul had many challenges in the early adult life, at 2: 30 in the morning on one faithful day, Paul called out to Jesus on the steps of Rock Pike Church, to which Jesus heard his call and penned his name in the Lambs Book of Life. He was baptized in Little Otter Creek with the love of his life, Kimberly, and family gathered all together. From that day on Paul’s life was changed, his family was so proud of the man he had become. Paul was known to be faithful to his family and his friends, he would give you the shirt off his back if you needed it. In addition to Paul’s demeanor he was an excellent artist, known for his sketches.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, who was like a second father to him, Alfred Eugene Henderson.
Paul is survived by his loving wife, Kimberly Grace Henderson; parents, Jeffrey Henderson (Sara) and Tammy Jamerson (Dennis); children, Jacob Henderson and Penelope Brown; mother-in-law, Mary Gibson (Ed); brothers, Jason Henderson (Crystal), Derek Wooten (Janice), and Mike Kersey, Jr. (Crystal); sisters, Shannon Branham (Larry), Mary Beth Wilbun (Matthew), Afton Jamerson, and Heather Mcfadden (Andy); grandparents, Leola Henderson, Oral Ferguson (Christine) and Beth Richardson (Randolph); numerous nieces, nephews, two of which were very dear to him; Timothy and Ryder Henderson, aunts, and uncles; and last but not least his favorite canine companions, Floki and Bella.
