Paul Jerry Latimer, 72, of Lynchburg, passed away on Monday, April 4, 2016. He was the loving husband of Susan Cole Latimer for forty-nine years.
Born on July 21, 1943, in Portland, Tenn., Paul was a son of the late Paul Daniel Latimer and the late Juanita Inez Richie Latimer. He worked for many years as a physicist for the U.S. Government, and was also a professor at Virginia Western Community College and Central Virginia Community College. Paul will be remembered as a wonderful husband, father, and grandfather.
In addition to his wife, Paul is survived by his two sons, Mathew Latimer and his wife, Sally, and Zach Latimer and his wife, Katie; three grandsons, Patrick, Collin, and Luke Latimer; one granddaughter, Quinn Latimer; and his brother, Barry Latimer and his wife, Denita.
Services for Paul will be held privately.
