Paul Lylton McCraw, 76, of Moneta, passed away Thursday, February 6, 2014. Born Friday, May 7, 1937; he was the son of the late Roy Lylton McCraw and Ena Mae Austin McCraw.
With over 22 years of service, Paul proudly served his country and retired as Chief from the United States Navy. He was a proud Vietnam War veteran with three tours of Vietnam. For his bravery and courage, he was awarded the Bronze Star with combat \"V\" and the Meritorious Service Medal. He enjoyed fishing and loved his friends dearly.
Funeral services will be conducted 12 Noon, Monday, February 10, 2014 in the Chapel of Tharp Funeral Home, Bedford. Burial will follow in Radford Baptist Church Cemetery. Friends and family are welcome Sunday, February 9, 2014 from 3 to 5 PM at Tharp Funeral Home, 320 North Bridge Street, Bedford.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to Good Samaritan Hospice, 2408 Electric Road, Roanoke, VA 24018.
