Paul Wesley Scott, 67, of Lynchburg, VA, died Friday, April 19, 2013. He was the husband of Faye Hamlett Scott.
Mr. Scott was born Friday, April 19, 1946 in VA, a son of the late Ercy Lee Scott and Shirley Schrader Scott.
He was the owner/operator of Scott's Cabinet Shop for 47 years, a cabinet maker extraordinaire and was a Charter Member of Heritage Baptist Church.
He proudly served our country in the Army Reserve during Vietnam.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons: Christopher A. Scott Sr. & Kara of Lynchburg, W. Brent Scott of Evington, a daughter: Paula S. Deberny & Denis of Lynchburg; two brothers: Thomas W. Scott & Clara of Lynchburg, Garnett Scott & Linda of Forest, two sisters: Ercy S. Bondurant and Sherriel S. Howard & Eddie all of Lynchburg and Special Friend and companion Duke \"" his rescued hound dog.
A celebration of Paul's life will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Monday, April 22, 2013 at Heritage Baptist Church with the Reverend Dr. Gerald Kroll, Pastor Nathan Smith and Pastor Keith Manuel all officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
Memorial contributions may be sent to the Heritage Baptist Church Building Fund.
