Paula Celeste "PC" Lewis

Paula Celeste “PC” Lewis of Madison Heights, VA., left this world and gained rest and peace with her Heavenly Father on December 29, 2023. She was born on January 27, 1955, to the late Harry Byrd and Willie Mae Christian. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Cedric Taylor Jr.; her brother, William Christian Sr.; and granddaughter, Rayne Fleshman.

Paula was a member at Scott Zion Baptist Church in Madison Heights, VA. She was a faithful member of the Scott Zion Usher board and enjoyed greeting her church family on Sunday mornings. Paula worked at the Central Virginia Training Center and retired after over 30 years of service. Once retired, she continued working at Big Lots in Madison Heights. In her spare time, she enjoyed listening to music, reading inspirational books, and decorating and renovating her home. Her greatest joy was taking family vacations and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Paula leaves to celebrate fond memories and her legacy of love, her daughter, Carla Taylor of Madison Heights, VA.; her son Antwan Charlton of Raleigh, NC; A very devoted granddaughter, Raven Vaughan (Mario); her grandsons, Terrell Taylor, Rasean Spencer, Ryan Spencer, Tennelle Fleshman, Nalijah Herndon (Summer), and Johnathan McFadden;

One loving aunt Ann Christian; her siblings, Phillip Christian Sr. (Lee), of Charlottesville, VA., Harold Christian, Valerie Ashley, and Sandra McDaniel, all of Madison Heights, VA., Harry Christian Jr. (Gloria) of Topeka, KS., Randy Christian of Lynchburg, VA., and Anita Franklin (George) of Concord, VA; a host of loving nephews and nieces; a devoted friend Nathan (Nat) Herndon; along with many other relatives and friends.
