The family finds peace in knowing that Pauline Beatrice Elliott Marshall has entered her heavenly home to the loving arms of God and the love of her life Tom. She passed away on Sunday, September 11, 2016, at her home after years of battling Alzheimer’s.
We are sadden by our loss, but are grateful for the love, determination, and example that she has provided for her family and friends for 91 years.
She was born on August 22, 1925, a daughter to Floyd Lester Elliott Sr. and Hattie Odell Neighbors Elliott. She was married to Thomas Stone Marshall on July 14, 1950, and they were married for 62 years until his death in 2012.
She was the loving mother to Donna Brown (Glenn) and to Kathy Harris. Pauline is survived by her five grandchildren, Christopher Brown (Amanda), Judith Nagy (Michael), Natalie Haan (Shanen), Marshall Harris (Lauren Liming) and Sandy Glass (Russell), all who were her pride and joy; her five great-grandchildren, Allison Nagy, Raven Haan, Collin Brown, Matthew and Sydney Glass; one brother, Curtis Elliott (Betty); two brothers-in-law, John Faulkner and Earl Inge; two sisters-in–law, Helen Elliott and Shirley Marshall, seven nieces and eight nephews.
In addition to her parents and her husband, Pauline was preceded in death by one brother, Floyd Elliott Jr.; two sisters, Patsy Faulkner and Joan Inge; one brother-in-law, Arthur Marshall; and one sister-in-law, Rebecca Jennings.
Pauline was a faithful member of Fairview Christian Church and the Loyal Sons and Daughters Sunday School Class. She was the last Charter member of the Fairview Rebekah Lodge #52 and retired from General Electric.
She loved to travel, care for her devoted beagle Flo, bake the best hermit cakes, and always had room for her favorite chocolate candy!
