Pauline Kathryn “Kathy” Warren Chryssikos, 89, of Bedford, passed away on Thursday, April 25th, 2024, at her residence. She was born in Alma, Arkansas on December 24th, 1934, to the late William R. Warren and Lucy Marie Wilhite Warren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Lewis Jackson Chryssikos; sons, Phillip Chryssikos and John Nick Chryssikos; daughter, Alice Webb and sisters, Barbara Hull, and Margaret Holstein.
Kathy was a long-time member of Bedford Presbyterian Church where she attended faithfully. She worked for many years as an LPN at Bedford County Nursing Home and the Elks National Home. Kathy was so proud of her family and loved them all very much. Kathy and her husband loved to travel throughout the United States and even traveled to Greece. She enjoyed reading, spending time with family, crossword puzzles, Jeopardy, Solitaire, and loved Butterflies. Kathy was a kind, caring person who never said an unkind word about anyone and always had a smile on her face.
She is survived by her children, Patricia Anne Stapf and husband David, Robert Lewis Chryssikos and wife Tammy, and Lucy Marie Porter; sister Anna Phillips; grandchildren: Shawn Webb, Zachary Webb and wife Sydney, Ryan Webb and wife Melissa, Elsie Keener and husband, Andrew, Christoper Chryssikos and wife, Erica, Crystal Whitehead, Christina Chryssikos, Joseph Stapf, Gretchen Carleton and husband Peter, Candice Blankenship, Patrick Chryssikos, Erica Porter, and Steven Porter; twenty-seven great-grandchildren, five great-great grandchildren, sister-in-law Georgia Chryssikos Witt, special friend Raymond Bryant and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday April 30, 2024 at Bedford Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Phillip Parker officiating. The family will receive friends on Monday, April, April 29, 2024 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
