Pauline Witt Sexton, 69, of Moneta passed away Thursday, May 27, 2021 at Carrington Place at Botetourt in Daleville. She was the loving wife of William David Sexton for 52 years.
Born August 24, 1951 in Bedford she was the daughter of the late James Witt and Sally Marie Hodges Witt. She is also preceded in death by a son: William David Sexton, Jr.
In addition to her husband, Pauline is survived by her children: Barry Wayne Sexton, Jason Lynn Sexton and wife Lisa and Charity Ann Sexton; grandchildren: Brittany and Tyler Sexton and Sophia Jorgenson; sisters: Viola Collins and Patty Inge.
Pauline loved to knit and crochet, and she wrote the entire bible in her handwriting in several journals.
A funeral service and celebration of Pauline’s life will be conducted at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, June 1, 2021 at Tharp Funeral Home, Bedford, with the Rev. Les Whealton officiating. Interment will follow at Virginia Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
