Peggy A. Nicholas, 69. Of Monroe passed away Friday, June 23, 2023 at her residence. She was a daughter of the late Montague M. Nicholas, Jr. and Ginny Bailey Nicholas.
Peggy was an Army Veteran serving during the Vietnam War. She graduated from CVCC with an Associate’s Degree in Science and a certificate in Respiratory Therapy. She also worked in the paper industry for many years. Peggy also loved her family and was an avid animal lover.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two brothers, Danny Lee Nicholas and Norman Keith Nicholas; and a beloved sister, Gayle Nicholas Brown.
She is survived by her cousin and caretaker, Cynthia Neighbors and her husband Thomas; family, Wendy Burks, Richard Thomas Weaver, Landen Burks, Terri Sheppard (Brandon), Sandra Spencer, Valerie Kidd, Morgan Kidd (Chase), and Lynn Cannon and her family, Special friends, Jeanie Lawhorne, Jane Barbara, Stinnett and Debbie McDaniel, Melody Brink and numerous family and friends.
