Phyllis Lee Rosser, 72, of Evington, died Tuesday, February 7, 2017. Phyllis was the daughter of the late Herbert W. Carey and the late Corene M. Hamlett.
Phyllis is survived by her children, Kathryn Cyrus, Jacqueline Snyder and husband Dewayne, and Dwayne Rosser; one sister, Faye Henson; her grandchildren, Brittany, Keri and her husband Mundy, Aaron, Jennifer, Daniel, and William; great-grandchildren, Aubrie, Mason, Savannah, Elizabeth, and Faith. Phyllis is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
She will be remembered for being a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
Visitation will be held from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Friday, February 10, 2017, at Tharp Funeral Home, Lynchburg. A celebration of Phyllis’ life will be held on Friday, February 10, 2017, 6:30 p.m., at Tharp Funeral Home, Lynchburg, officiating will be the Rev. Dr. J. Monty Fox.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 400 Scruggs Road Suite 500, Moneta, VA 24121.
