Phyllis Osborne Roberts, 77, of Lynchburg, died Tuesday, April 20, 2010.
Phyllis was born Saturday, December 03, 1932 in Lynchburg, a daughter of the late Minnie and Hampton C. Osborne. She was a member of Leawood Baptist Church.
She is survived by her companion, Albert D. Maxey (Hootie); children, Dawn Schneider and husband, Bill, of Delta, PA, Mike Johnson, of Baltimore, MD, Paula Porch and husband, Joey, of Delta, PA; six stepchildren; her grandchildren, Valerie Rosenberger, Rebekah Johnson, Mindy Schneider; many special nieces and nephews;
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her, sister, Shirley Jamerson and grandson, Duane Johnson and former husbands Robert Johnson and William Roberts.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:30 PM on Thursday, April 22, 2010 at Tharp Funeral Home & Crematory. A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 AM on Friday, April 23, 2010 at Tharp Funeral Home with the Rev. Lenn Lloyd officiating. Interment will follow in Fort Hill Memorial Park.
