Polly Parker Nunley

Polly Frances Parker Nunley, 85, of Bedford, VA and formerly of Arlington, KY, died Wednesday, October 9, 2013 at Bedford Memorial Hospital. She was born September 28, 1928 in Arlington, KY, a daughter of the late George Dallas Parker and Mary Edith Snow Parker.

Polly was a member of Arlington First Baptist Church, Arlington, KY.

In addition to her parents, Polly was preceded in death by her husband, Charles A. Nunley; and two brothers, George Dallas Parker, Jr. and James Nelson Parker. She is survived by three children, Barry L. Nunley and his wife, Mary Sue of Bedford, VA, Karol E. Bruce and her husband, William of Paducah, KY, and Jerry W. Nunley of Covington, GA; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; a sister, Joan Howard of Ft. Worth, TX; and many nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions may be made to Arlington First Baptist Church, 129 State Route 80 West, Arlington, KY 42021.

Graveside services will be conducted in Milburn Cemetery, Milburn, KY at 2 PM, Sunday, October 13, 2013 with Brother Rodney Bice officiating.
